This landscape lighting transformer has an AC120v input and a DC12V output, and is equipped with a built-in photocell sensor. The landscape light will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at sunrise.
The low voltage transformer features a Timer & Memory function, allowing you to set the countdown time to 3/5/7/9/11 hours to meet your diverse time needs. Additionally, the landscape transformer has a power failure memory function, retaining the working mode you selected before after power off and restart.
Here are the key considerations when choosing your transformer:
- Ensure that the lights you are using are LED Low Voltage lights.
- Check whether the input voltage (DC12V) of the lamp you are using matches our product's output (DC12V).
- Calculate the total wattage of your LED light fixtures in your plan.
- Choose a transformer that can support the total wattage of the lights you need.
- The transformer wattage load (total watts needed for your light fixtures) should be within 80% of the rated capacity of the transformer.
For example, if you have 9 pack 5W LED landscape lights, the total wattage is 45W. Then, you can choose a transformer with a rating higher than 60W (=45W/0.8).
This transformer can only be used with DC12V LED lights, and should not be connected to incandescent or tungsten lights.
The "Auto" Mode feature allows the lights to turn on automatically at dusk and off at dawn. The "Countdown Timer" Mode allows the lights to turn on at dusk and automatically turn off after 3/5/7/9/11 hours.
The transformer is designed with overload and short circuit protection, ensuring secure and reliable operation. It is also IP65 waterproof, making it suitable for outdoor use, with resistance to rain, snow, dust, and corrosion.
