WAC Lighting EN-2460-R2 Electronic Class 2 Transformer for 120V Input, 24V Output, 60 Watt, Black

This Class 2, UL & cUL listed electronic transformer is the perfect solution for wiring multiple low voltage fixtures. The transformer has a soft start, short and overload circuit protection features, and a low minimum load requirement of 1W to allow the use of LED products. It may be dimmed using an electronic low voltage dimmer, and is suitable for use with WAC under cabinet & recessed lights.

Transformers that end with -S include a lead for Line and Straight Edge systems, while those that end with -T include a lead wire for InvisiLED 24V Tape. This transformer is intrinsically safe, as Class 2 transformers are compartmentalized to allow no greater than 5 amps of current to be drawn on each compartment.

The secondary wiring for Class 2 transformers does not require conduit sheathed cable or clamp wiring techniques. Non-metallic sheathed cable may be used for secondary wiring in walls and ceilings. This eliminates the need for specialized wiring techniques, making installation more straightforward.

The input voltage for this transformer is 120V AC, and the output voltage is 24V AC. The load capacity varies based on the transformer, with 60Watt and 100Watt options available. Smooth and continuous dimming can be achieved with an electronic low voltage dimmer, which should always be installed on the primary side of the transformer.
